ABOUT the ARTIST

     Illustrator, fine artist and instructor Nancy White Cassidy is a recent transplant to the beautiful White Mountains Region of New Hampshire from Litchfield County, Connecticut. She earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in illustration and has taught drawing, illustration, pastels and perspective throughout New England.

    Her new House on the Hill Studio boasts a 180 degree view of the White Mountains, including Mount Washington, and is large enough to accomodate 12 students comfortably. The location also offers access to outstanding scenery just minutes away. A listing of upcoming classes will be posted on the "classes" page.     She has illustrated for most of the major educational publishers, including, Scott-Foresman, Harcourt, Pearson, McGraw-Hill and many others. Her Christian publishing clients include: Lifeways, Augsburg Fortress, United Methodist Publishing and International Bible Society.

    Ms. Cassidy has developed several lines of art for licensing for use in paper products, greeting cards, textiles, tabletop and puzzles. She is represented by Studio Voltaire Art Licensing.

    She is a member of Mount Washington Valley Arts Association, the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce and Tin Mountain Conservation Center.

    Ms. Cassidy resides with her husband, Larry, and Max the Cat.
